HACIMS Telemedicine Solution

HACIMS (Telemedicine Solution) is a telemedicine solution for Tele-Diagnosis/Consultation and Tele-Treatment designed by MS Oratier Technologies and successfully running in fifteen hospitals in Pakistan. The software established a network of remote hospital, hub hospital and a central server to control the activities of the system. To provide access to specialist health care that is otherwise unavailable or difficult to access in community.

HACIMS (Telemedicine Software) is a web based telemedicine solution for Tele-Diagnosis/Consultation and Tele-Treatment and follows the latest world HL7 V 3 standard for clinical information management. By adopting HL7 standard it is possible to exchange clinical information of a patient world over. The information stored in a single standard format centrally at Hub so it is possible to transfer and exchange information quickly and accurately. Several other standards are also used in conjunction with HL7 such as ICD-10 disease codes, ICD-10 procedure codes, LOINC, etc. Some other features are:

Each template contains lot of medical terminologies for Presenting Complaints, Histories, and Physical Examination etc. These medical terminologies mapped with different international standard’s medical terminologies for exchange of information.

• Live transmission of digital medical equipment readings (Stethoscope, Autoscope, ECG, Dermoscope, Ultrasound Probe etc.) on second terminal and also stored in system.

Patient services cover the patient related activities such as patient HOPI, examination, medication, medical documentation, diagnosis and procedures. This will also cover patient scheduling, visit planning, pre-admission and post discharge treatment. Various Specialties will also be covered. In addition it will cover specific diagnostic and treatment protocols for specific specialties of medicine and surgery both along with integration to patient registration, diagnostic modules, pharmacy and patient billing modules.
