HOSPITAL AUTOMATION & CLINICAL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (HACIMS)

Oratier Technologies developed a health care product HACIMS which is a complete ERP solution. HACIMS is a webbase health care application covering the necessities of the hospitals in the Pakistan and allowing them to communicate clinical data at National and International level. Our application incorporates Health Level 7 that provides standards for the exchange of data among worldwide healthcare computing applications. Several other standards are also used in conjunction with HL7 such as ICD-10 disease codes, ICD-10 procedure codes, LOINC, DICOM. Keeping in view the high requirements of live communication, Oratier introduced the telemedicine solution for Tele-Diagnosis/Consultation and Tele-Treatment. The software established a network of remote hospital, hub hospital and a central server to control the activities of the system.

In the past we have been actively engaged with Punjab Information Technology Department to computerize different Hospitals base on HL7 standard such as Lahore General Hospital.Some other health related running projects are

This will also cover patient scheduling, visit planning, pre-admission and post discharge treatment. Various Specialties will also be covered. In addition it will cover specific diagnostic and treatment protocols for specific specialties of medicine and surgery both along with integration to patient registration, diagnostic modules, pharmacy and patient billing modules.

This module covers various functions of medical store e.g. purchase of inventory, medicines, consumables / non-consumable medical items etc. The stock management and issuance of inventory items to various units like dispensaries, pharmacy and wards. Tracking of expiry dates for different drugs and re-order levels of all stocks will also be handled. This module also maintains the detailed information of suppliers, contracts and supply orders.

It also covers generalized inventory including stationary, general consumable items, kitchen food items, hospital furniture and fixture etc, integrated with Procurement Management and Financial Management and Accounting System.

Biometric Systems

Biometric Attendence System can be used to track the time spent by the individual in a particular Department.
Our time attendance system can be very well utilized at hospitals, and fully Integrated with HACIMS. This biometric solution is exclusively used for managing the time related data and sign-on.
The biometric time attendance system is fully integrated with payroll system and employees renumerations are calclulated based on their attendance.
The system uses biometric devices for sign on and verificatio of issuing and receiving of store.
The data of doctors are fully protected by this system and managment has all the reports to regulate the attendance of employs.

Picture Archiving & Communication Systems (PACS)

In medical imaging, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) are computers, commonly servers or NAS boxes, dedicated to the storage, retrieval, distribution and presentation of images. The medical images are stored in an independent format. The most common format for image storage is DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine). However, other more generic file formats like AVI (Audio Video Interleave), PDF (Portable Document Format) and others are used where they may have distinct advantages over DICOM for motion video images or where audio is required or for reports scanned from paper. Electronic images and reports are transmitted digitally via PACS; this eliminates the need to manually file, retrieve or transport film jackets. A PACS consists of four major components :

A secured network for the transmission of patient information, Workstations for interpreting and reviewing images, Long and short term archives for the storage and retrieval of images and reports.

Combined with available and emerging Web technology, PACS has the ability to deliver timely and efficient access to images, interpretations and related data.

PACS breaks down the physical and time barriers associated with traditional film-based image retrieval, distribution and display.
